Townhouses – Copenhagen is inspired by historical models such as the houses along Christianshavns Kanal, the English terraced houses in Toldbodgade or Kartoffelrækkerne, but also modern townhouses in Berlin. The view of the Sound is experienced in the context of the private and introverted green atrium courtyards. The townhouse can be designed for multiple functions on all two to six floors. The new local plan allows for both residential and commercial use. Each townhouse contains three large apartments, all over two floors. The apartments are aimed at those who want the spaciousness of a villa but with a view of Copenhagen harbour.
