Archaeological Museum

Archaeological museum in Rostock in the inner city harbour

A place in the water – a new place between land and water is being created, and with it a museum for the great archaeological treasures that tell the story of human history. A symbol that is visible from afar, carefully and naturally blends in with the raw area of large buildings and the silhouette of the listed city centre.

Client: The state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, represented by the Ministry of Finance, represented by the Rostock State Construction and Property Office.
